Elk or Moose
We drove north of Ione on the east side of the river and two of these animals crossed the road. I think it is an Elk, Tom thinks it is a moose. Let us know what you think.

Our Fire Area
We have fires every night that the wind is not blowing. It has been a beautiful May but hear that June is considered the rainy month.

Conifers - Austrian Pine
The pine trees were delivered and planted. They came over the hill during a storm and there was sleet on the top of the hill.

Our Neighbors annoying house
We have begun our defense. We planted 10 trees that are 15-20 feet tall and some of the rootballs were over 400 lbs. What a project and we got to mostly watch. 
Below is the before picture and the doublewide to the right is the reason he had to build his house so close to the property line. He has to remove the doublewide when his house is finished but he wanted to use it until the new one was built so his reasoning for building so close. There are more trees to be planted. We will block him out soon. Watch the progress.
