Olympic National Park

We are staying near the rain forrest along the coast and do not even get a phone signal. I am in an internet cafe. Just wanted to let you know we can't be reached but we are well and just watching it rain. The Kayaks were amazingly full of water, pictures later when we can get on line with my own computer.

On the Road Again

We are parked for the night at the flying J in Ellensburg, where Hwy 90 crosses the Yakima River. Tomorrow we are headed to the Sequim, WA Elks and hopefully stay a few days to sight see. The picture below is of the Columbia River. More than 45% of the water in the Columbia came from our PO River. Parked in our driveway with truck attached ready to go.

Migrating South

We took as many vegetables as we could.
Tom's last soak before he closes the hot tub.

closing everything down.

The deck is empty

Saying good bye to my River before I get into the tub with Tom
The rig has been moved

Parked in the driveway testing all of our boondocking skills before we head out. The water pump needed some attention but now all systems are GO
It looks so lonely.
We are anxious to leave but I know by spring we will be even more anxious to arrive.

Anna's 33rd - Western Star Style

On the River - More Family Photos

Waylon eats on the deck and has a great view. Anna and Wayon on the deck
Anna, Aaron and Waylon down by the boat.

Ione Park - The Davis Family

Anna is carrying my next grandchild - a girl.

Waylon hangs out with the boys

A bread stick and golf sticks make him cool as he joins Tom and Daddy to hit some balls The boat is absolutely the best with all of the buttons and dials
The motorhome is really cool to drive and again the bread stick adds just the right macho look.

The all important picture on the lawn mower is a special treat.

Views from the Boat on a trip to Ione

This is a view of our property from the river. We own from the large pine on the left to past the large bush on the right. Cattle came down to the edge of the river from their grazing field.
The fall colors are starting to show. The air looks smokey because there is a forrest fire near.

The Serentipity golf course as viewed from the river.

The farthest north we can boat before we hit Box Canyon Dam. The sign on the right is a warning and their is a netting to stop anyone that doesn't see the sign.

Around the yard

The garden is producing so well we are giving vegetables away. Enjoying the view.
I rototilled about a half acre so I can do a fall planting of native grasses and flowers.
The muscrat I have photographed before has become bolder so I got a close-up picture. He has chewed on the boat cover so he isn't our favorite neighbor.

Beautiful Sunsets

Nothing new is happening here on the river so I thought I would share a few of my pictures of our famous view. I take pictures almost every evening but these were just a few of my favorites.

A Heron stops by

When we came out of the rig this morning the Heron was perched on the bow of the boat. I was sorry I got too close and scared him away.
