Unique RV
I just got an email from Fritz showing me a rig like this. We saw this RV in Borrego Springs and then it showed up in San Diego. They have the German Flag flying so probably a foreign rig.
You could go anywhere in this. (Randy, have you thought about this?)

Golf in Borrego Springs
Tom and Bobbe waiting to putt
The Road Runner Golf Course is the perfect course for me. No hole is over 200 yds so I have a chance to score well. I had a few pars and one birdy. Long courses just kill me. Tom and I are playing even here at the Road Runner but on other courses he has to give me a stroke a hole.

We had a great spot on the river and enjoyed beautiful sunsets, usually from the floating bar "The Roadrunner" where I spent my Birthday. We kayaked down from the Dam to our site (thank you Allen for transporting our car). The paddle was beautiful with calm wind and few power boats. The rock formations are amazing but I didn't take my camera.
Heading south but separate
I drove the car to San Clemente to see Anna, Aaron and Waylon in their new house and got the added bonus of my sister, Tina and her son Doug too. I was hoping
Doug would have his pictures on his blog because this is the only picture I took. Anna with baby to be, Waylon, with Doug, laughing at his moves.
Tom left in the rig and headed to Parker, AZ where I joined him on Monday.

The picture of the mountains was taken on my drive south on Hwy 395. The mountains were just before Mt Whitney and I took this picture without stopping so you get to see the car and road as well.

Ready to Travel
Tom has changed the kayak racks to the new car leaving the truck looking naked and the FJ overwhelmed. It seems like lots of work but the new car is so much more comfortable and fun to drive it is worth it.
The picture below is of our mountains as seen from The Mesa.
We have not had any fires here but the smoke from So Cal has certainly traveled here. Our allergies are killing us but we are not the type to stay indoors. I can't even imagine how horrible it must be near the fires.

Back from Reno
We just returned after 3 nights in Reno to get the new car ready to tow and add the accessories we wanted on the car. Everything went well but we were glad to get home. The picture below was taken just before we left at the Bishop Country Club. If you look in the parking lot by Tom's rt elbow you will see our FJ.
I will add pictures later of the car with racks etc.
